Over the years, I’ve had the gift of working with clients who, through their experience with therapy have become inspired themselves to become therapists. This week I had the pleasure of speaking with one of these clients who is now finishing her masters degree and in the early stages of building her private practice. Listening to her immense gratitude for her own therapeutic journey, which is still having an impact on her life and the lives of her clients, made my whole week. Knowing you have made an impact on a person who is now making an impact on other people is really what is meant by
“tikkun olam,” to repair the world.”
